"Research suggests that about 60 to 80% of IBS is in fact caused by this. And this, my friends, is SIBO. SIBO stands for Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth. It is when bacteria that should be in your large intestine start to overgrow in your small intestine. And what can happen over time or not even over time, is that those bacteria can start to overgrow in the wrong place. And that's when we start to get a lot of these different symptoms that we associate with IBS.
